In the German Grazerlei I already talked about always having wanted to live in a house with folding doors. I even refused to agree to building a house unless we were going to have folding doors in at least one room, no matter where.
So.
Folding doors were important.
Other details were not.
Therefore, in the 1 3/4 years that we have been living in the house I didn't care all that much that there was a gap between the door frame and the ceiling.
We had always wanted to fill it with a glas window, but, of course, when you have just built a house, there are other things that are way more important.
Now, however, Frank was fed up with it and decided to take matters into his own hands.
To be honest, it is not always easy to live -- as we say in German -- in the shadow of someone, who not only knows how to do like everything, but who knows how to do everything real well.
On the other hand...
... it sure is a pretty shadow, ;-).
Enjoy your day, everyone!
So long,
Corinna
